Amendment #851 to H4000

Tenancy Preservation

Representatives Vargas of Haverhill and Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7004-3036 the following:

"7004-3045  For a tenancy preservation program for neutral party consultation services in eviction cases before the housing court department of the trial court for individuals with disabilities and for families with individuals with disabilities; provided, that the disability of the program participant or family member must be directly related to the reason for eviction to be eligible for the program, prior appropriation continued ....................... $42,755".
