Mr. Lawn of Watertown moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by inserting after “projects” the following: “; provided, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the City of Newton Urban Forestry Division to plant new street trees in the northeast corner of the city where the greatest heat-island problems are created by large impervious land cover.
