Westport Transfer Station Facility Improvements

Mr. Ouellette of Westport moves to amend the bill in section 2, line item 2200-0107 by inserting at the end thereof the following:” provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to the Town of Westport for the installation of a well at its Transfer Station and related expenses. These enable the Health Department and Transfer Station which serves as the Towns recycling facility to properly maintain both heavy and light duty equipment which is essential to cleaning of debris, grease, and corrosive substances that accumulate during operation. It will be utilized to replace the portable toilets that they currently use by a permanent bathroom which will meet sanitary requirements.
