Amendment #979 to H4000

Mr. O'Day of West Boylston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in line item 4512-0205, by inserting at the end thereof the following: “; provided further, that not less than $475,000 shall be expended for the RecoveryWorks program at Massachusetts General Hospital, which is building a community of people in addiction recovery, including those who are court involved or returning citizens, families, organizations, and local resources to enhance participants’ long-term recovery as they seek purpose, hope, and meaningful employment by (i) providing participants mentorship, career coaching, recovery and career oriented skills training groups, and assistance with removing barriers to (re)enter the workforce throughout the five-year duration of the program ; and (ii) partnering with employers and organizations on education and anti-stigma efforts” and in said item by striking the figures "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$575,000"
