Amendment #980 to H4000

Acushnet Council on Aging Community Center Improvements

Mr. Ouellette of Westport moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-1192 in line 6 after the word “Laws” the following: provided that not less then $20,000 for the Acushnet Council on Aging and Community Center to replace their outdated HVAC system. Last year they replaced one unit and are seeking funding to replace two units (out of four needed). These improvements will ensure that the HVAC system is serving the senior population, also as a community heating/cooling center and emergency shelter.
