Amendment #983 to H4000

Saving Towards Affordable and Sustainable Homeownership

Mr. Worrell of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7004-0107, by adding the following: “; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for the Saving Towards Affordable and Sustainable Homeownership program administered by the Massachusetts Affordable Homeownership Alliance, Inc. to assist first-generation homebuyers in a regionally equitable manner to benefit communities throughout the commonwealth. And in said item by striking out the figures "100,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "600,000".
