Amendment #992 to H4000

Planning Office for Urban Affairs

Mr. Vargas of Haverhill moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by inserting after the word "projects" the following:

 

"provided further, that at least $300,000 shall be allocated to the Planning Office for Urban Affairs to support resident services for low-income individuals and families in need, addressing service gaps. Additionally, these funds shall support a partnership with Metro Housing Boston to provide formerly homeless and low-income households with financial education, resource access, and asset-building opportunities."
