Amendment #996 to H4000

Western Massachusetts Drinking Water Study

Mr. Saunders of Belchertown moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1599-0026, by adding the following: “provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission and the Franklin Regional Council of Governments to develop a water plan in the Pioneer Valley to identify water sources and assess capacity of aquifers, public water system infrastructure and private wells.”; and in said item, by striking out the figures "$6,899,999" and inserting in place thereof the figues "$7,149,999
