BPS Opportunity Lab

Mr. Worrell of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1596-2517, by inserting after the word “projects” the following words:- ;provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be allocated to Boston Public Schools to support and expand the Opportunity Lab, a college preparedness program serving BPS high school seniors with targeted academic and postsecondary planning services, including SAT preparation, college admissions essay support, financial aid and FAFSA completion, one-on-one advising, and college application guidance.
