Amendment #14 to H4150

Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification

Mr. Paulino of Methuen moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 1599-1776, by adding the following:

“; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Lawrence Police Department to support the certification of officers as nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST), including training costs, materials, equipment, and community outreach to promote proper use of child restraint systems and improve child passenger safety for families in the Merrimack Valley.”

and by striking out the figure “$15,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “$15,050,000.”
