Amendment #55 to H4150

The Brooke House in Mattapan by 2Life Development

Mr. Holmes of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1599-1777, in line 2 by inserting after the word "Lowell" the following: "provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be expended for the creation of the Brooke House in Mattapan by 2Life Development, Inc.; provided that 127 units of senior housing will be created; provided further that the housing be reserved for seniors with incomes of not more than 60 per cent of the area median income; provided further that the Brooke House shall include space for the Shattuck Child Care Center; provided further that the Brooke House shall include space for a health clinic operated by Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center" and in said item by striking out the figures "$6,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "8,000,000"
