Amendment #14 to H4187

An Act Relative to the Prohibition of Billboard Advertising for Non-Prescription Marijuana Products

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill SECTION X. Chapter 94G of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 4 the following new section:

 

Section 4A. Prohibition on Billboard Advertising of Non-Prescription Marijuana Products

 

(a) Prohibition on Billboard Advertisements: No adult-use cannabis licensee shall display, or cause to be displayed, any billboard advertisement for non-prescription marijuana or marijuana-related products.

 

(b) Definition of Billboard Advertisement: For the purposes of this section, "billboard advertisement" is defined as any outdoor advertising structure, including but not limited to signs, posters, or other displays, visible to the public from a public way.

 

(c) Enforcement and Penalties: The Cannabis Control Commission shall promulgate regulations to enforce this section, including the authority to impose penalties for violations in accordance with the Commission's enforcement policies.
