Amendment #27 to H4187

Protecting Competition & Equity

Mr. Worrell of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 20 by inserting the following clause:-

“(xli) establish procedures and policies to ensure that the transfer of any license to an individual or entity in excess of three in any category will not adversely affect competitiveness in the industry, the commission’s efforts to encourage full participation in the industry pursuant to section 4(a½)(iv) of chapter 94G of the General Laws, or any licensed social equity business within a five mile radius of the license being acquired”.
