Amendment #9 to H4187

Delivery Amendment

Representatives Jones of North Reading and Ferguson of Holden move to amend the bill by adding the following section: -

“SECTION XXXX.  Section 4 of Chapter 94G of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting, at the end of the section, the following subsection: -

(n) The commission shall not prohibit the delivery of cannabis by licensed delivery operators or couriers to any municipality in the commonwealth nor to any establishment that provides overnight lodging services to tourists and visitors, including but not limited to hotels, motels, and resorts.

SECTION XXXX. The commission shall promulgate or amend regulations as necessary to be consistent with section 1 not later than 1 year of the effective date of this act.”
