Amendment #13 to H4601

Continued Shelter Spending Transparency

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Muradian of Grafton, Vieira of Falmouth and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by inserting the following new section:-

“SECTION X. Chapter 77 of the acts of 2023 is hereby amended in section 2A, in item 1599-0514, by inserting after the words “fiscal year 2025” the following:- “and in all subsequent fiscal years thereafter; provided, that the executive office for administration and finance, in consultation with the executive office of housing and livable communities, shall provide a report to the house and senate detailing all fiscal year 2026 spending on the emergency housing assistance program since July 1, 2025 which had not been previously disclosed in the offices’ bi-weekly EA reports”
