Violent Injury Definition

Ms. Giannino of Revere moves to amend the bill in section 18 by inserting after subdivision (2 ½)  the following subdivision:-

2 ¾.  Section 1 of Chapter 32, as most recently amended by Chapter 149 of the Acts of 2024, is hereby amended by striking the following phrases “or life- altering”, “and”, “designed for the purpose of causing”.  Said section is further amended by inserting after “catastrophic” the word “or” and further amended by adding after “is” the phrase “used in a manner intended to cause”
