Amendment #50 to H4601

Special Commission for State and Teacher COLA Extension

Mr. Ryan of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION 88 of Chapter 14 of the Acts of 2025 is hereby amended by striking in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following section: -

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the special commission established in section 202 of chapter 140 of the acts of 2024 is hereby revived and continued to December 31, 2025. The special commission shall submit its report and recommendations, if any, pursuant to said section 202 of said chapter 140 with the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate not later than December 31, 2025.
