Definition of Employee Technical Edits

Ms. Fiola of Fall River moves to amend the amendment 1 by striking out the amendment in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following:-

Ms. Fiola of Fall River moves to amend the bill in section 1 by striking out, in lines 9 and 10, the words “or under contract for employment with an independent entity or a third-party vendor at a health care facility, by a health care employer” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- a health care employer, or employed by or under contract for employment with an independent entity or a third-party vendor at a health care facility.

And moves to further amend the bill in section 4 by inserting, in line 202, after the word “employee” the following words:- shall be as defined in section 52F of chapter 149.
