Amendment #2 to H4994

Bidding Threshold

Representatives Muradian of Grafton and Jones of North Reading move to amend the amendment by adding the following seven sections:

SECTION XX. Section 39M of chapter 30 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 21, 54, 57, 63, 66 and 154, the figure “$50,000” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $75,000.

SECTION XX. Said section 39M of said chapter 30, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 67, the figure “$150,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $250,000.

SECTION XX. Section 39R of said chapter 30, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 10 and 17, the words “one hundred thousand dollars” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $250,000.

SECTION XX. Section 29 of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 6, the figure “$25,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $50,000

SECTION XX. Section 44A of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 61, 80, 84 and 100, the figure “$50,000” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $75,000.

SECTION XX. Said section 44A of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 101 and 112, the figure “$150,000” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $250,000.

SECTION XX. Section 44F of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 6 and 42, the figure “$25,000” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $50,000.
