Make Mass Save work for electric ratepayers
Mrs. Lipper-Garabedian of Melrose moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 1 the following section:
"SECTION 1A. Section 21 of said chapter 25 is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence of subsection (b) and replacing it with the following:
Every 3 years, on or before March 31, the electric distribution companies and municipal aggregators with certified energy plans shall jointly prepare a cost-effective statewide building decarbonization and energy efficiency investment plan.;
and by striking out the first paragraph of subsection (d) and inserting in place thereof the following:-
(d) (1) A gas distribution company shall not administer building decarbonization or energy efficiency programs pursuant to the statewide plan".
