Operator Asset Management Process Overhaul

Mr. Robertson of Tewksbury moves to amend the bill in Section 36 by striking the number “$25,000,000” in proposed Section 69X(a) to G.L. c. 164 and inserting in place thereof the number “$50,000,000”. and furthermore,

amended in Section 36 by striking the phrase “The board may establish rules that permit an applicant for a project reviewed pursuant to this section to forego certain pre-filing requirements pursuant to said section 69T” in proposed Section 69X(b) of G.L. c. 164 and inserting in place thereof the words:-

“The board shall establish rules that permit an applicant for a project reviewed pursuant to this section to forego the pre-filing requirements otherwise applicable pursuant to said section 69T.” and furthermore

in Section 36 in proposed Section 69X(c) of G.L c. 164 by inserting after the words “regional transmission planning process” the following words:-

“overseen by ISO-NE” and be it further amended

Section 36 in proposed Section 69X(d) of G.L c. 164 by striking the sentence “Projects selected by ISO-NE shall for inclusion in its regional system plan shall not be subject to this section.” and inserting in place thereof the words:-

“Projects subject to a review process developed and overseen by ISO-NE shall be exempt from this section.”
