Amendment #35 to H5151

Representatives Cahill of Lynn and Garballey of Arlington move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XX. Section 3 of said chapter 25A, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence to the definition of “Qualified RPS resource”:-

For the purposes of section 17, a Class II hydroelectric resource, as defined in subsection (d) of section 11F, shall be considered to be a Class I resource, as defined in subsection (c) of section 11F, and shall be considered to have a commercial operation date after January 1, 2019.
