Electric Sector Modernization Plans

Mr. Galvin of Canton moves to amend the bill in Section 38 by inserting the following language in proposed Section 92B(c)(2)(i)(E) of G.L. c. 164 after the words “virtual power plant”:-

“under the control and management of an electric distribution company ”

And further moves to amend the bill in Section 38 by inserting the following language in proposed Section 92B(e)(3) after the first sentence:-

"For purposes of determining if a proactive plant addition constructed pursuant to an electric sector modernization plan is used and useful, the department may not consider the utilization of such plant addition by an electric company or electric distribution customers."
