Clean Energy Procurement

Mr. Day of Stoneham moves to amend the bill in Section 13, in line 178 by inserting after the phrase "Long-term contract" the following phrase:- "by the commonwealth"; and, further in said section in line 302, by inserting the following sentence:- "Such contracts shall not impose any obligation a distribution company other than to collect payments for such contracts from distribution customers through tariffs approved by the department of public utilities."; and further in said section by inserting in line 325 after the word "section" the following:- ", with such a tariff including provisions authorizing recovery of costs for contract payments and tariff administration incurred;"
