Support for La CASA Education and Financial Empowerment Programs

Mr. John Francis Moran of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1596-2517, by adding the following:- “;provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA) for La CASA, The Center for Arts, Self-determination, and Activism, to support individuals and families in breaking the cycle of poverty and achieving socio-economic mobility through high-quality youth programming, evidence-based education, and financial empowerment programming for residents;”
