Amendment #81 to H5264

An Act Relative to Cannabis Public Health Education

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill In section 2, by inserting after item 1596-2424 the following item:-

“3000-XXXX For the Cannabis Control Commission for a statewide public education and awareness program on the risks associated with cannabis consumption; provided, that funds shall support evidence-based prevention and outreach, including youth prevention, impaired driving and public health impacts; and provided further, that the commission shall collaborate with the department of public health and the department of elementary and secondary education… $1,000,000”
