Crimes Against the Person

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Muradian of Grafton, Vieira of Falmouth and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by striking out the amendment in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following:-

Mr. Jones of North Reading moves to amend the bill in section 3 by striking out, in lines 176 and 177, the words “a person’s release date” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- the release date of a person, including, but not limited to, a person convicted pursuant to chapter 265, except for sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 30, 32, 34, 35, 36, 40, and 42 of chapter 265.

And moves to further amend the bill in section 3 by inserting after the word “sentence”, in line 177, the following words:- , including, but not limited to, a sentence for a conviction pursuant to chapter 265, except for sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 30, 32, 34, 35, 36, 40, and 42 of chapter 265,.
