Effective Tourism Marketing and Promotion Grant Campaigns

Mr. Cruz of Salem moves to amend the bill by adding at the end thereof the following new sections:

SECTION XXX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (a) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T of said chapter 23A for fiscal year 2027 shall be distributed not later than December 1, 2026 pursuant to a transfer schedule determined by the executive office for administration and finance.

SECTION XXX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (b) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T of said chapter 23A for fiscal year 2026 shall be distributed not later than December 1, 2026 pursuant to a transfer schedule as determined by the executive office for administration and finance.
