Latin American Business Organization Regional BIPOC Small Business Support

Representatives LeBoeuf of Worcester and Keefe of Worcester move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following: “provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Latin American Business Organization (LABO) to provide technical assistance to BIPOC businesses in Worcester County focused on financial management, access to capital, legal compliance, startup fundamentals, and supplier diversity certification”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$150,000”.
