Hands-Only CPR Training in the Commonwealth's Public Schools

Mr. Walsh of Peabody moves to amend the bill, in section 2, line-item 7010-1192 by inserting after the words "and provided further, that funds shall be expended fully and, on a schedule, consistent with the provisions of section 9B of chapter 29 of the General Laws", the following:

"; provided further that the board of elementary and secondary education would provide to secondary schools not less than $375,000, which shall be expended for grants to support hands-on CPR training in public schools across the Commonwealth."

and in said item by striking out the figures "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$475,000"
