Amendment #1239 to H5500
Jail and Arrest Diversion Grant Program
Representatives Cruz of Salem and Hogan of Stow move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5046-0000, in line 14, by striking out the following: “provided further, funds shall be expended for jail diversion programs in municipalities that provide equal matching funds from other public or private sources” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “provided further, that not less than $19,000,000 shall be expended to maintain and expand jail diversion programs" and in said item by striking out the figures “$679,676,424” and inserting in place thereof the figures:- “$698,676,424”.
