LEAP for Education New Era Fund and Operation Support

Mr. Cruz of Salem moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 7002-0012, in line 11, by inserting after the words “appropriation continued” the following:-“provided further, that no less than $100,000 be allocated to LEAP for Education for the New Era Fund program and operations to expand paid internships, career readiness experiences, industry-aligned opportunities, training systems, and coordinated youth support across Salem and Lynn, while strengthening alignment with MyCAP and other school-based career readiness efforts” and by striking out the figures "$17,365,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figures:- “$17,465,000”
