Mr. Ashe of Longmeadow moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding at the end the following: “provided further, that not less than $35,000 shall be expended to Link to Libraries, Inc. to continue providing new, culturally sensitive and engaging books to stock school library shelves and to help underserved elementary students build their own home libraries” and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$135,000”.
