Salem Skipper North Shore Operational Support

Mr. Cruz of Salem moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 1595-6379, in line 10 by inserting after the words "General Laws" the following:- "provided further, that no less than $2,500,000 be allocated for the continuation of the Salem Skipper, an on-demand microtransit service operating in the cities of Salem and Beverly and the town of Danvers; provided, that said funds shall be used to sustain service operations for a program that tens of thousands of North Shore residents including low-income workers, seniors, students, and people with disabilities depend on for access to employment, medical care, education, and daily essentials;" and by striking out the figures $11,671,807 and inserting in place thereof the following figures:- "$14,171,807"
