Mr. Madaro of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-1116, in the final line, by inserting after the word “projects” the following: “; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for the Hispanic American Institute for their work, including, but not limited to, the Immigrant Business Accelerator and the Immigrant Small Business Legal and Development Initiative; provided, that the initiative shall provide professional legal assistance, including but not limited to, corporate formation, lease negotiation, and regulatory compliance; provided further, that the program shall offer technical business development services and direct capital grants to formalize and scale immigrant-owned enterprises in East Boston and the Greater Boston area”
