Refugee Resettlement Agencies

Representatives Nguyen of Andover and O'Day of West Boylston move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after line-item 4003-0122 the following item:

4003-0123 For the resettlement agencies in the commonwealth that contract with the United States Department of State and federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to resettle refugees and immigrants to provide services and support to refugees and other displaced persons eligible for the services provided by said resettlement agencies; provided that funds shall be used for urgent legal services to support status adjustment applications for eligible clients.................... $1,000,000
