Amendment #156 to H5500

Coastal Foodshed

Mr. Sylvia of Fairhaven moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2511-0107, in line 2, by inserting after “food” the following: “ provided further, that not less than $40,000 be allocated to Coastal Foodshed to address food insecurity through access to healthy food and to provide support to local farmers and our agricultural economy in the Greater New Bedford Region”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$140,000.
