Watertown Dam Removal Project for Charles River Resilience

Mr. Lawn of Watertown moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2800-0700, in line 5, by inserting after "safety" the following: "; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for the department to complete the permitting and design of the Watertown Dam Removal and Alternatives project to avoid dam failures and public safety hazards, restore river biodiversity, enhance water quality, and improve migratory fish passage"; and in said item by striking the figures "$780,817" and inserting in place thereof the figures "1,030,817".
