Amendment #1604 to H5500

Newton Public Schools Professional Development and Inclusive Leadership

Mr. Lawn of Watertown moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-1192, in line 6, by inserting after "Laws" the following: "; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended to Newton Public Schools for professional development opportunities for educators including diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and to support a leadership network across the Newton Public Schools"; and in said item by striking out the figures "100,000"; and inserting in place thereof the figures "225,000".
