Amendment #1619 to H5500

Raynham Park

Mr. Gallagher of Bridgewater moves to amend the bill by adding following section: 

SECTION X. Notwithstanding section 2 chapter 128C of the General Laws, and any general or special law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, the greyhound racing meeting licensees in Bristol County shall have the right to simulcast unlimited running horse racing performances and unlimited harness horse racing performances from any existing and new location in Raynham, Massachusetts. The said licensees are authorized to use any service provider that has been authorized and licensed by the commission pursuant to section 5C of chapter 128A of the General Laws.

The licensing fee and license renewal fee for sports wagering, as so appearing in section 6(f) of chapter 23N of the General Laws, is reduced from $5,000,000.00 to $250,000.00
