Richard Honan Park

Mr. Turco of Winthrop moves to amend the bill by adding a new section:

Section XX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The Crest Avenue park located at the beginning of Winthrop Beach Reservation located within the town of Winthrop, shall be designated and known as the Richard Honan Veterans Park, in honor of a decorated Vietnam Ware combat veteran who has dedicated his life to his fellow soldiers.

The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker and signage bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
