Amendment #1632 to H5500
Preserving DMH Youth Services and Programs
Representatives Domb of Amherst and Decker of Cambridge move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5042-5000, in lines 14 to 16, inclusive, by striking out the following: "provided further, that not less than $9,800,000 shall be expended for an intensive residential treatment program; provided further, that not less than $5,200,000 shall be expended for a flexible support services program;" and inserting in place thereof the following: "provided further, that the department shall maintain the same number of intensive residential treatment programs and clinically intensive residential treatment programs as were maintained in fiscal year 2026; provided further, that the department shall expend not less than the amount expended in fiscal year 2026 for flexible support services, intensive home-based therapeutic care and therapeutic day services;" and in said item by striking out the figures “$136,668,638” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$140,848,638”.
