MBTA Communities Funding Protection

Mr. Robertson of Tewksbury moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 28 the following section:

“SECTION 28A. Section 3A of chapter 40A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-

(d) An MBTA community’s eligibility for funding related to schools, fire departments and police departments shall not be affected by its failure to comply with this section.”
