Additional Funding for Metropolitan Beaches

Ms. Meschino of Hull moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2800-0500, in lines 9 and 10, by striking out the following: "that not less than $50,000" and inserting in place thereof the following: "that not less than $100,000”; in said item in line 12, by inserting after “beaches;” the following: “provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the cleanup of Pilayella algae on King’s beach and Long beach in the city of Lynn;”; in said item, in line 13, by striking out the following: "that not less than $190,000" and inserting in place thereof the following: "that not less than $290,000”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$1,310,231" and inserting in place thereof the figures “$1,510,231"
