Funding for Massachusetts History Day program

Ms. Meschino of Hull moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-1192, by inserting at the end, the following: "provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Massachusetts History Day program, operated by the Massachusetts Historical Society, to sustain and increase access to the program for students and teachers across the Commonwealth”; and in said item by striking out the figures “100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$150,000”.
