Concrete Testing Reimbursement Program

Mr. Ashe of Longmeadow moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7006-0142, by adding at the end the following: “provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for a reimbursement program to be managed by the division of occupational licensure, which shall provide for the costs associated with the testing for the presence of pyrrhotite; and provided further, that reimbursements shall be made at a rate of 100 percent for visual testing conducted by a licensed professional engineer for not more than $600 and at a rate of 75 percent for the testing of 2 core samples for not more than $4,000." and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$20,560,756” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$20,610,756”.
