Education to Workforce Marketplace Pilot Program

Mr. Kushmerek of Fitchburg moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7066-0000, by inserting after the words “training and accountability”, the following: 

“; provided further, that not less than $2,000,000 shall be expended for the department of higher education to continue the operation of the Education to Workforce Marketplace pilot program that supports re-enrollment and student success initiatives at public institutions of higher education throughout the Commonwealth” and in said item by striking out the figures “$3,833,186” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$5,833,186".
