Amendment #560 to H5500

Charter School Procurement

Representatives Ultrino of Malden and Donato of Medford move to amend the bill by inserting the following new section:-

SECTION X. Section 2 of chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the definition of “Governmental body” and inserting in place thereof the following definition:-

“Governmental body”, (i) a city, town, district, regional school district, county, or agency, board, commission, authority, department or instrumentality of a city, town, district, regional school district or county; or (ii) a charter school, as defined in section 89 of chapter 71.
