Prison Mitigation

Mr. Gallagher of Bridgewater moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 8900-0001, by inserting the following: “provided further, that the department shall expended not less than $2,000,000 for the ten municipalities hosting department of correction facilities; provide further that each of the ten municipalities hosting a department of correction facilities share of the total $2,000,000 shall be divided equally per inmate, to be determined at the start of each fiscal year.

; And in said item by striking the following figures $858,650,607 and inserting in place thereof the figures $860,650,607
