Mrs. Reyes of Lawrence moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-1116, in line 1, by inserting after “projects” the following: “provided further, that not less than $25,000 be expended for the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce to support business development, networking, and economic opportunity initiatives in the Merrimack Valley”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$125,000”.
